Winter walk around Panshanger Park, Hertfordshire

Panshanger park in Hertfordshire has just this year reopened as public access land after years of being privately held by a tarmac company. Currently only one third of the park land is open to the public, and some of its most magnificent landscape and features such as the 600 year old Panshanger Oak are off limits.

I’m looking forward to being able to visit more of the Panshanger park land in the years to come as its so close to where we live, and in the mean time will keep an eye on their website for updates on new walking routes whilst the hubby enjoys the 5k Parkruns.
