Zakynthos (Zante), Greece
Took this snap whilst on a boat trip around the Greek island of Zakynthos, otherwise known as Zante, and this picture shows the rather aptly named the Blue Caves. I love the dark and shadow, and light and luminescence, of the blues playing across the water here, and the sky is such an endless flat blue expanse. Just around the corner lies the beach holding the 1980 freighter shipwreck, the only access being via boat.
Top tip for Zante: There is a ruined fort with spectacular views accessed from above Bochalli. it’s very quiet and fairly unknown on the tourist route. It is a few Euros entry but less than the price of a Greek coffee in a tourist bar. If you are based in Zante Town or Tsilivi then you can walk all the way there (steep in places, allow 2 hours from Tsilivi) and enjoy the views on both sides as you ascend.
